- Description
Thank you for considering One-to-one lessons for your fencer. One-to-one lessons are one of the fastest ways to develop and accelerate your fencing.
They provide dedicated time with a coach to develop technique, build confidence, solve specific challenges and work towards your personal goals. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for competition, each lesson is tailored to help you improve and enjoy your fencing even more.
Due to Netherhall clashes there will be no lessons on 15/10
This is a series of 14 lessons. You will pay for 12 lessons but will be scheduled for 12 dates. This gives you leeway to miss 2 but you MUST take all 12 within the 12 dates - there will be NO carry-over and NO credit except in exceptional circumstances agreed by the coach and Sarah Paveley who is the lesson administrator.
We need you to give as much notice as possible (more than 48 hours) so we can juggle times around and avoid gaps - you will be less than popular if you don't give notice and therefore less flexibility from us! If you give less than 48 hours notice then the lesson cannot be "cancelled" and will be included in your tally.
Please read the detailed explanation of how lessons work on the attached lesson Policy.
Each lesson will be specific to the pupil and will include the following:
Fencing warm-up -
Strength and conditioning specific to fencing
Fencing footwork
Specific fencing exercises - blade in hand -
Theory
Question for research and then a discussion at the next meet
