- Description
This session is for those who have completed at least one term of after school or Saturday beginner course. Ask your session coach (or our Headcoach@cambrisgesword.co.uk) if in any doubt about joining this session.
This session is coached by Matt Billing a two time Commonwealth silver medalist and experienced and enthusiastic coach.
All kit is supplied at the session. You must wear long tracksuit trousers, pockets taped or sewn up and trainers. Remember to bring plenty of water, a dry T-shirt and warm top/coat to put on as you leave.
If you have fenced less than one term you will receive temporary (10 weeks) free membership of the British Fencing Association which you must maintain at an annual cost of £15.00 from your second term of fencing.
(Membership of the BFA is mandatory for all members of clubs affiliated to the British Fencing Association - it gives many benefits and most importantly, insurance.)
By booking this session, you confirm that you and your child have read, understand and agree to follow the relevant Cambridge Sword policies, including the 'Fencer Code of Conduct', 'Parent/Carer Code of Conduct', 'Arrival, Collection and Supervision Policy', 'Equipment, Kit Loan and Armoury Policy', 'British Fencing Membership and Insurance Requirements Policy', 'Payments, Booking, Refunds and Cancellations Policy', and 'WhatsApp and Digital Messaging Policy'. You also acknowledge the ‘Member, Parent and Participant Privacy Notice’.
