Imagine a sport that combines the excitement of swordplay with the strategy of chess. Fencing is a thrilling Olympic sport that develops speed, agility, coordination, confidence, and fitness, while teaching children to think quickly, solve problems, stay focused, and make smart decisions under pressure.
Perfect for children aged 4–16, our beginner courses are packed with action, games, skill-building, and fun, helping every child grow in confidence while learning an amazing new sport.

This session is coached by Matt Billing a two time Commonwealth silver medalist and experienced and enthusiastic coach.
All kit is supplied at the session. You must wear long tracksuit trousers, pockets taped or sewn up and trainers. Remember to bring plenty of water, a dry T-shirt and warm top/coat to put on as you leave.
If you have fenced less than one term you will receive temporary (10 weeks) free membership of the British Fencing Association which you must maintain at an annual cost of £15.00 from your second term of fencing.
(Membership of the BFA is mandatory for all members of clubs affiliated to the British Fencing Association - it gives many benefits and most importantly, insurance.)
