Competition Support British Youth Championships

This is one of the competitions that we will provide a support coach and club equipment for back up on the day.

This is NOT your entry to the competition itself which will be sent to you directly from the British Fencing Association when your qualifying event is complete.

The times stated here will NOT reflect the time you must check in to the competition or the time you will finish - you must check all this with the competition organisers. The club coach will be at the competition from the arrival of our first fencer until the last of our fencers finishes fencing. we hope and expect that all of those fencing will remain after their competition is over and cheer their team mates on.

We have amended the price of coach support to reflect the travel and time coaches spend at competitions and their potential lost income for 1-2-1 lessons. This competition involves at least 2 nights in a hotel and associated expenses.

Bring all fencing kit including two working and weight tested foils and two body wires - you should have these if you attend competitions regularly otherwise we can lend them to you. The coaches will have spare wires and foils all tested and working.

If you need to borrow anything else from us or are unsure about anything please make sure you contact Sarah or Archie and arrange it at least a week before.

We will create a WhatsApp group several weeks before to collate all info and let you know which coach will support.

Please be aware that as coaches we don’t receive ANY information before or on the day except published public info. We know which days you are fencing on and at what time BUT if there are any late bits of info sent to competitors please let us know via the WhatsApp.
