The is an extra weekly training session for those fencers committed to fencing and to honing their competitive skills
Please take a look at our presentation from November 2025 and the Q&A. This will explain the Competitive pathway and the support we are giving the fencers that want to follow a competitive journey.
These will be enjoyable sessions coached by Archie and Matt and fencers should see an improvement in their fencing and competitive success.
over a term squad training will include the following -
•Footwork
•Free fencing
•Team building activities
•Teaching time- peer/coach
•Fencing scenarios
•Competition prep
•Competitive ladder system (challenges)
•Squad tier system (Squad 1,2,3)
•Homework- S+C, videos, cardio, circuit
•Tactical talk time + quiz
•Regular performance review (fitness, selected actions, tactical understanding)
•Pizza night- top results.
