All coach support must register.
We are running a competition for young people aged 7 up to 18 and we have a duty of care towards them. In a normal coaching scenario at a club or school all contact with children is monitored and coaches are checked against a national register (DBS), qualifications checked and so on.
Therefore we can only accept coaches who are registered on the British Fencing Coaches Register or who are members of British Fencing and are signed in by a registered coach from their club on the day.
ALL coach support must register so that we have time to check BFA membership and the coaches register.
