Beginners Fencing course - children aged 8 to 16

ALL KIT PROVIDED

Come and learn to swash buckle - or at least the modern equivalent!

Lots of fun and exercise plus learning a new skill.

the Cambridge Sword way!!

and if the weather is hot, some cool/er water based fencing!!

Can lead to joining Cambridge Sword Fencing Club at our evening or one of our many after-school sessions for intermediates and beginners.

We will follow the syllabus for the BAF (British Academy of Fencing) Bronze Proficiency Awards

This is a course and will result in participants obtaining a certificate of competence leading to the BAF bronze award if they were to continue with fencing afterwards. It is not possible to join for one or two days as the course is iterative and fencers will miss too much if they only attend for a day or so.

Led by Archie Broughton our new enthusiastic coach fully equipped with a great fencing pedigree, coaching qualifications and a Sports Science degree.
